YONKERS, N.Y. — The League of Women Voters of the Rivertowns will host a virtual candidate forum featuring the two candidates seeking to represent New York State Assembly District 90.
Democrat Frank Jereis and Republican John Isaac will participate in the forum on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 7 to 8 p.m. The event will be held as a Zoom webinar and is open to the public with advance registration.
Residents can register to watch the forum live at https://bit.ly/assemblydistrict90.
Questions for the candidates must be submitted in advance, either during registration or by email at info@lwv-rivertowns.org. The deadline to submit questions is 6 p.m. Monday, October 5. According to the League, questions will be reviewed by a committee of League members and provided to the moderator before the forum begins.
Jereis and Isaac are competing for the open Assembly District 90 seat currently held by Assemblyman Nader Sayegh, who is not seeking another term. Jereis won the Democratic primary in June, while Isaac is the Republican nominee.
The forum will be recorded and made available afterward through the League of Women Voters of the Rivertowns YouTube channel and at www.lwv-rivertowns.org.
The general election will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
