League of Women Voters to Host District 15 County Legislator Candidate Forum

YONKERS, N.Y. — The League of Women Voters of the Rivertowns will host a virtual candidate forum for Westchester County Legislator District 15 on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 7 to 8 p.m.

The forum will feature incumbent County Legislator James Nolan, who is running on the Republican Party line, and Democratic challenger Kisha Skipper.

District 15 represents all of Bronxville, part of Eastchester, and portions of northeast/east Yonkers

The forum will be held as a Zoom webinar and can be viewed live by registering in advance at:

Members of the public are encouraged to submit questions for the candidates ahead of the forum. Questions may be submitted during registration or emailed to info@lwv-rivertowns.org.

The deadline to submit questions is 6 p.m. Thursday, October 15.

According to the League, a committee of League members will review submitted questions before forwarding them to the moderator before the forum begins.

For residents unable to watch live, the forum will be recorded and made available afterward through the LWV Rivertowns YouTube channel and at www.lwv-rivertowns.org.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization focused on encouraging informed and active participation in government, increasing public understanding of major policy issues, and promoting civic engagement through education and advocacy. The organization does not support or oppose political candidates or parties.

Election Day: Tuesday, November 3, 2026
Polls Open: 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Early Voting: Saturday, October 24 – Sunday, November 1, 2026
Early-voting hours vary by location.

The deadline to register to vote in the November General Election is October 24, 2026.

Voters can find additional election information and polling-place details through the Westchester County Board of Elections.
