Yonkers Police Department Elevate Eight Members At Promotion, Appointment Ceremony, Thursday

Yonkers, NY – Mayor Mike Spano and Police Commissioner John J. Mueller presided over Thursday’s promotion and appointment ceremony which was held in the historic Ceremonial Courtroom in Yonkers City Hall. The Mayor and Commissioner were proud to elevate eight members to positions of higher authority and assignments within the Department. “Today I promoted eight highly qualified members of the Yonkers Police Department,” shared Mayor Mike Spano. “They will serve in their new roles alongside the other men and women of the YPD, dedicating themselves to protecting and serving our great City. Thank you for recommitting yourselves to the City of Yonkers. Best of luck in your new roles.”
