Wise Intelligent of Poor Righteous Teachers talks about the deliberate effort to silence positive Hip Hop

Someone sent me a link to a video of Wise Intelligent of Poor Righteous Teachers talking about the deliberate effort to silence positive Hip Hop and the subsequent effect on the Black Community. This video was made over five and half years ago, but the brother could have made it yesterday because it still very relevant and I thought it needed to be seen.
Positive Music, Positive Artists, Original Art can shape the environment, shape the world, shape the people into realizing there is more to life then being “hood” that hard attitude is for the weak that’ll run from a white man with a badge everyday…..

Check it out and leave your feedback in the comment section and let us know what you think…

Guy talks a lot of sense, unfortunately Louis Farrakhan and the nation of islam have nothing to do with the true Islam, however this is not the forum to express this fully… but in short….the only way to “beat” the system is to unplug yourself from it …many have realised this like mosdef etc.. you will never reach enlightenment whilst being plugged into the darkness. My heart wishes I could show this to you all but everyone’s journey is his own but at least the collective hearts of people are now thirsty to be free ….May the truth find that collective heart

Now that right there is the truth! Yesterday, today and until we change it that’s how it’s gonna be! The tape is old but that brother told everybody in the room what it was, why it was, and how it came to be – yet today the music has gotten more blatantly destructive and for all the reasons he mentioned “back then”. Maybe it’s not the music that needs to change – maybe its us in our thinking. But as long as the record industry has you “tapping your feet” to your own destruction – that ain’t happening either!
