BW Breaking News: Continue unrest at County Jail

Inmate Charged With Attacking An Officer In November, Responsible For Three More Attacks! Officers Stll In Danger at County Jail.

Black Westchester has been informed by a reliable source that inmate Michael Howard, who was already charged with attacking and braking Correction Officer Dwayne Boland’s jaw has now injured three more officers. One officer suffered a broken nose from the altercation. No further information on any injuries the other officers may have suffered from the attack.

BW will keep the taxpayers informed on how County Executive Rob Astorino is handling the inmate unrest at the County Jail and what if anything Alonzo West, President of Westchester Correction Officers’ Benevolent Association (COBA) is doing to insure the officers safety. We placed several calls into West’s office, but once again the COBA President refused to discuss officers safety with Black Westchester.

Since BW broke the story Officers In Danger In Westchester County Jail earlier this week we has been overwhelmed with emails and calls of concern for officers safety, so we have decided to do an investigative series on what’s going on at the Westchester County Department Of Corrections (WCDOC).  Stay tuned!
