Undercover Gun Sting Operation in Port Chester Lead To The Seizure of 93 Illegal Guns [Fios1 News]

Officials say Port Chester Metro-North station was one of several train stations in firearm trafficking operation

Port Chester — State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman announced Wednesday that a state undercover gun sting operation lead to the seizure of 93 illegal guns, several arrest and now the guilty pleas of two major leaders of the “Bloods” street gang, reports Shannon Lanier for Fios1 News.

Schneiderman said the Port Chester Metro-North station was just one of the train stops gang members used to bring illegal guns into Westchester.

For their alleged train gun trafficking ring, William ‘Redrum’ Soler will be sentenced to 15 years in prison and Erick Ransom is looking at three to six years. Schneiderman also made it clear that New York has zero tolerance for illegal gun and gang activity.
Schneiderman says this is still on ongoing investigation.
