For all of you who knew and loved him, went to school with, played sports with, or were just lucky enough to have met him, we are asking for your support in assisting the family lay Tamani, better known as Tajohn, or ‘T’, to rest.

For those who may not know, he was murdered this past week; taken away from us much too soon. But his life was more than a beginning and an end.

Tamani Tajohn Turner was born on January 21, 2005, at Sound Shore Hospital (now Montefore), in New Rochelle, NY. One of 2 children, he grew up in his family home in Mount Vernon, NY. There he attended Mount Vernon Public Schools and then studied at Archbishop Stepinac High, on a sports scholarship. He was an avid gamer and gifted athlete, specifically in football.

He left this earth on April 6th, 2023, at the tender age of 18 surrounded by his family. He leaves behind his parents, Paula & D., a sister Dejzhane, a niece, and dozens more family members who loved and adored him.

100% of all funds raised will be going to his funeral arrangements in his hometown of Mount Vernon. The family thanks you for your contributions and well wishes.
