When you think of rap stars Diddy and Drake, brawling in a Miami nightclub isnt the first thing that comes to mind.
While details are still sketchy and speculations running rampant in the blogsphere from everything like it was over Diddy’s girlfriend, Cassie to it revolved around music rights to a song, the only thing that’s clear is the two came to blows and Diddy allegedly threw the first punch.
It was money, not women, that made Diddy punch Drake outside of a Miami nightclub early Monday morning … TMZ reported. Diddy said, “You will never disrespect me” … and then clocked Drizzy.
TMZ says sources told them it was just the one punch — Drake was stunned, but not knocked out. One report said the fight was over Diddy’s girlfriend, but TMZ said they were told that wasn’t the case.
The older rapper got in three punches during the brawl at the birthday bash for DJ Khaled at LIV in Miami Beach early Monday, The Daily News reported in their gossip section with the headline Diddy ‘kicks the s— out of’ at Miami Beach Club
Witnesses said 45-year-old Sean Combs clocked the 28-year-old “Worst Behavior” singer about 4 a.m. outside the Fountainbleau hotel on posh Collins Ave. in a brawl capping an Art Basel Miami bash, writes the NY Daily News
“Drake definitely got the s–t kicked out of him,” said Bullet magazine editor Ray LeMoine, who’d been partying at LIV earlier that weekend and got a flurry of texts from friends who’d stayed behind. “I heard they were taking him to the hospital.”
While it’s still unclear exactly what happened, MTV News was able to confirm the fight did in fact happen with a source who witnessed the incident, while Rick Ross’ DJ, Sam Sneaker, gave a detailed account on his Twitter.
Due to the various reports and not all for the most reliable sources, its unclear if Drake is in the hospital or suffered any injuries for sure, but this is just another example that rap is outta control. We will have more as details become available.
