Ray Rice Attends NRHS Football Game- Huguenots Defeat Ramapo 34-6

The New Rochelle Huguenots football team won Saturday’s home conference game against Ramapo by a score of 34-6. The Ramapo Gryphons also lost another conference game at home last Friday at the hand of the visiting Mount Vernon

At the invitation of coach, over objections of NRHS Principal Reggie Richardson, Rice makes his first public appearence since elevator tape surfaced.
“The New Rochelle football program is a very strong program, and once you’re a member of that program, you’re a member of that program for life,” coach Lou DiRienzo said, who invited Rice to game. “Ray is a part of our family and a part of this program, and that’s why I’m very happy that he’s here today. He made a mistake — and he made a very terrible mistake — but I know the character of the man, and he will rise from this.”
