The Municipal Housing Authority for the City of Yonkers (MHACY) is soliciting proposals from vendors to write federal, state/local, and private grant applications for funding sources for the MHACY and its affiliate non-profit, Mulford Corporation, Inc. as specified in this Request for Proposals (RFP).
This RFP package contains submission requirements and terms and conditions and other pertinent information for submitting a proper and responsive proposal. This RFP is the only information provided to prospective bidders (hereinafter “Responders” or “Respondents”) and is available online starting April 14, 2023, at www.mhacy.org.
The RFP questions deadline is April 25, 2023, at 3:00PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). Any and all questions must be emailed to Dr. Denise Wesley at compliancemonitor@mhacy.org by the deadline. No telephone calls and/or written communication sent via mail will be accepted. Bid Submissions are due May 4, 2023, no later than 3pm. Late submissions will be handled in accordance with the provisions in Form HUD-5369B. After Bid Submissions are submitted, Formal Interviews will be conducted from May 8 to May 12, 2023, with Dr. Denise Wesley.
Proposals will be evaluated on the criteria stated in the RFP. Negotiations may be conducted with contractors who have a reasonable chance of being selected for the award. After evaluation of the proposal revision, if any, the contract will be awarded to the responsible firm(s) whose qualifications, price and other factors are considered to be the most advantageous to the MHACY.
The MHACY reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and waive any irregularities or informalities if it is in the MHACY’s best interest to do so. The MHACY reserves the right to cancel this RFP or to reject, in whole or in part, any and all proposals received in response to this RFP, upon its determination that such cancellation or rejection is in the best interest of the MHACY.
