On Wednesday, September 21, 2022, I had the pleasure to co-host the Race Talk Revolution podcast at invitation of the show’s host Lane Cobb. The topic of this weeks episode was Best Practices for Educating Black and Brown Children. The panel of experts included Dr. Khadijah Ali-Coleman and Dr. Alexandria Connally. Dr. Ali-Coleman is Co-founder of Black Family Homeschool Educators and Scholars, LLC. Dr. Connally is Founder and CEO of Culturally Responsive Environments and Discipline (C.R.E.A.D.) Joining us a little later on this broadcast was US Congressman and Founder of Cornerstone Academy for Social Action, Rep. Jamaal Bowman, Ed.D., who spoke about his Green New Deal for Public Schools initiative, which combines multiple movements for educational, environmental, and economic justice.
