Village of Port Chester to Host Candidate Seminars

Learn what it takes to be a candidate for the Village Board of Trustees.

The Village of Port Chester will begin a series of seminars to inform residents on how to qualify as a candidate for the upcoming 2016 Village Election, Village Clerk David Thomas announced.

The first forum is scheduled for Tuesday, December 29, at 6 p.m. at the Port Chester Senior Community Center, located at 222 Grace Church St. in Port Chester.

On March 15, 2016, the Village will hold elections for all six seats for Trustee on the Board of Trustees.

This month’s presentation will describe the election process, early voting and cumulative voting; as well as information on how to qualify to run for a Board of Trustee seat.
