Capt. Dennis Muhammad founder of The Peacekeepers brought together a gathering of black men at The Resurrection Celebration Center in Queens. The standing room only crowd of black men from across NYC and Westchester consisted of Muslims, Christians, Five Percenters and others from the neighborhood, all coming together for one common goal; standing up and taking back our communities. It was a night of unity in the community, empowerment and uplifting black men.

Speakers included legendary radio host, Bob Law, Kenny Carter founder of F.A.I.T.H. (Fathers Alive In The Hood), Student Minister, Hafeez Muhammad of Mosque #7, Damon K. Jones (BLEA- Blacks In Law Enforcement), the host Pastor Larry W. Davidson (Resurrection Celebration Center), Senator James Sanders Jr, Bilal Karriem spoke for the youth before Capt. Dennis delivered the objective and the game plan in his keynote message of empowerment to the room of over 100 black men.
