Black Westchester presents the People Before Politics Radio Show – Episode 331 Celebrating Women’s History Month with your host AJ Woodson and Special Guest Host Solange Estelle Bitol Hansen, Esq., Today we are celebrating 5 members of the Westchester Black Women’s Political Caucus (WBWPC) during 2022 Women’s History Month. Ghia Clarke from the Yonkers Chapter daughter of the first black business owner in Yonkers, Felicia Cummings from our Peekskill Chapter who with three other mothers run a program for mothers with autistic children and Lisa Burton from our New Rochelle Chapter who is our Redistricting Chair. We also celebrated Donna Jackson from the Mount Vernon Chapter and Symra Brandon from the Yonkers Chapter (who weren’t able to make to on the show). All the women shared their named the women who inspired them and other women they feel needed to be honored!
Our Special Guest Co-host Solange Estelle Bitol Hansen, Esq., is an attorney serving Pelham, NY. She has served as legislative counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) on first amendment/free speech issues, legislative counsel for the Washington National Office of NAACP. She is currently the NYC Regional Development Director for Brown University. Thank you for being our Special Co-host for the evening!
