NRPD Responds To Cop’s Invidious Facebook Comments About Black Lives Matter

New Rochelle — New Rochelle Police Department released a statement on New Rochelle Police Officer Chris “Stigs” Castiglia’s invidious Facebook comments about Black Lives Matter, in a chorus of criticisms that appeared in Black Westchester in the lat 24 hours and Blacks In Law Enforcement of America (BLEA) last week.

Black Westchester exclusively reported the rantings on Castiglia Monday evening at 7:48 P.M. which was preceded by a statement from Community Activist Kenneth Chamberlain Jr., that also ran in Black Westchester Magazine, Monday afternoon. Both the BW article and statement followed the statement released by BLEA one week prior on Tuesday, August 23rd.

NRPD released to following statement via their Facebook page, it can be read below in it’s entirety! The question is will NRPD give more than a finely worded response and actually suspend the officer at the very least for his statments? Stay tuned to BW for further details in this developing story.
