Monday night during a crowded NAACP forum on police accountability at Mount Hope AME Zion Church, White Plains Commons Councilwoman Nadine Hunt-Robinson was presented the Silver Life Membership Award.
“At the forum tonight, I received a plaque in honor of my Silver Life Membership in the NAACP, as a result of my financial support to their national treasury,” Councilwoman Hunt-Robinson who is up for re-election in November, tells Black Westchester. “The plaque reads, in part, testifying forever to our faith in the future of all Americans in the United States, and in the principles of equality and justice in the American Constitution.”
“I think tonight was a good start on the community dialogue and I look forward to future conversations,” she says in closing about the White Plains/ Greenburgh NAACP ‘Criminal Justice Forum On Police Accountability in Westchester County’
