New NBC Series BlindSpot Shoots Episode In Mt Vernon

Mount Vernon – NBC shoots an episode of its new highly anticipated television show Blindspot at the old bank on the bridge that demarcates South 4th Avenue and Gramatan Avenue, Monday. The scene will appear in hostage situation that can be seen in episode 105.

Blindspot centers on a beautiful woman with no memories of her past (played by Jaimie Alexander), who is found naked in Times Square with her body fully covered in intricate tattoos. Her discovery sets off a vast and complex mystery that immediately ignites the attention of the FBI, who begins to follow the road map on her body to reveal a larger conspiracy of crime while bringing her closer to discovering the truth about her identity. Strike Back’s Sullivan Stapleton plays Kurt Weller, the FBI agent whose name is tattooed on Jane Doe’s back and who is assigned to help crack the mystery, which is part of a larger crime conspiracy.

blindspotThe tattooed amnesic, played by Jaimie Alexander may be familiar to Marvel fan from her roles as Sif in the 2011 film Thor, its 2013 sequel, Thor: The Dark World, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Alexander is set to reprise the role again in the 2017 film Thor: Ragnarok.
The 200+ cryptic tats hold the key to solving her Jane Doe character’s identity (and solving crimes too, of course, lots and lots of crimes). Blindspot, which airs on Monday nights this fall on NBC, premiers Sept 21st.
