Has Mt. Vernon Jeopardized The Investigation Of My Sons Murder?

By Naz Duncan, mother of Wilbert Francis Jr who was Brutally Slain, June 11, 2016

I really think it is a Shame that from the first day of my attempts to communicate with Two city officials (Mayor Richard Thomas and Commissioner Ron Fatigate) that should have reached out to me in a professional manner but have not even given me the courtesy to respond to me in reference to my son’s case.

Instead, I get a call from a civilian (Roberta James) representing the city and a Deputy Police Commissioner (Deputy Police Commissioner Joseph Spiezio) that I’m now learning is not a real Deputy Police Commissioner.

I feel that I should have been contacted to even be told who these people are and their relationship to my son’s case. I’m still here waiting, let’s meet like grown professional adults.

All I want is Justice for my child. As I said before both of you are Fathers and Sons you should think as it were your mothers or wives that have to feel this pain, I would not wish this on No one. #ThisSystemIsSoUnprofessional #JusticeForJunior

[Editor’s Note: Councilman André Wallace is contacted Acting MVPD Police Commissioner Ronald Fatigate, Tuesday, January 24th requesting a formal investigation into what he calls, “a Blatant violation of police policy.” – See Document below]

[Editor’s Note: In all fairness we reached out to Deputy Police Commissioner Joseph Spiezio on Facebook where he has been ever so present in the last week or so to inquire about what Ms. Duncan wrote and he claimed it was a false allegation and he attempted to belittle our staff member who reached out to him by calling the staff member a clown, see screenshot below.]
