Mary J. Blige – The London Sessions

The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul escaped to London, England earlier this summer, inspired by the thriving limitless sounds coming out the U.K., to create her new album The London Sessions.

The Yonkers native’s 13th album is drops December 2 on Capitol Records, following the release of Think Like A Man Too soundtrack in June. The London Sessions includes contributions from some of U.K.’s top hitmakers including Sam Smith, Disclosure, Emile Sandé, Jimmy Napes, Naughty Boy, SAM ROMANS, and Eg White.

“Our idea was to become part of London,” MJB shared in an interview with The Guardian, a British newdpaper. “To really embrace the culture, to really live in it. Not that I haven’t been here before, but I’ve never had the chance to really soak it in the way I have this time.”
