Comedian Michael Che isn’t getting into an argument over semantics when it comes to the phrase “Black Lives Matter,” from his comedy special titled “Michael Che Matters,” now Streaming on Netflix as of November 25th. Che also provides some very valid points about current social movements.
As a co-anchor on Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update, Michael Che is used to poking fun at anything and everything. But with more time for his thoughts and no need for a filter, Che takes his act to a new level for his Netflix comedy special.
“We can’t even agree on Black Lives Matter,” says the former Daily Show correspondent. “ ‘All Lives Matter’? That would be like if your wife came up to you and was like, ‘Do you love me?’ And you were like, ‘Baby, I love everybody, what are you talking about?’”
