Memorial Field Public Hearing March 23rd

Please email or mail your comments supporting Memorial Field for Public Hearing on March 23, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. There will be no in-person access. Pursuant to Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Executive Order 202.1, all in-person public access to Board of Legislators meetings and Committee meetings is suspended.

The Board of Legislators Public Hearing on Memorial Field will be held on Monday, March 23, 2020 at 7:00 pm.

Your comments supporting the restoration of Memorial Field should be emailed or mailed.

Written Comments for Public Hearings Comments on the Memorial Field Public Hearing will be opened on March 23, 2020 for a period of ten (10) days. Members of the public can submit written comments until April 2, 2020.

All written comments will be considered by the Board and entered into the public record, provided they are received by the Clerk of the Board by 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2020. The written comments may be submitted by email to BOLpublichearingcomments@westchestergov.com or by mail ATTN: Clerk of the Board of Legislators, 148 Martine Ave., 8th Floor, White Plains, NY 10601.

The subject line for your comments should state: SUBJECT LINE: RES-2020-31 : PH-Amend IMA with Mount Vernon-Memorial Field.

“A local law authorizing the County of Westchester to enter into a second amendment to an intermunicipal agreement with the City of Mount Vernon for the design and construction of improvements to Memorial Field, in order to revise the description of the improvements, specify that the terms of the agreement and the lease shall terminate after the expiration of any County bonds issued in connection with the improvements and increase to twenty-nine million, six hundred two thousand ($29,602,000) dollars the County’s commitment to finance the improvements.”
