Due to scheduling conflicts, the councilman has been unable to appear up until now.
“Yes. The time has come,” Councilman Griffith tells BW when confirming his appearance. “I have kept quiet long enough. The ratings are about to rise.”
At the January 13th City Council Meeting the councilman addressed the role and responsibility of the council, protecting the residents of Mount Vernon, the appointment of a deputy mayor and more. I could be speaking out of turn, but I do remember the Mayor trying to reach out the the City Council Members. And I know he met with.most of them with the exception of maybe one.
