George Latimer Announces His Endorsement of the Peekskill Democratic Council Candidates

Peekskill, NY — State Senator George Latimer, the Democratic candidate who is running for Westchester County Executive, released a statement, Friday stating he will be holding a press conference Saturday afternoon to announce his endorsement of the City of Peekskill Democratic Council Candidates running in the Primary. Latimer is giving his endorsement to Vanessa Agudelo, Ramon Fernandez and Colin Smith because he believes strongly in the values of the slate’s Positive Agenda for “One” Peekskill, which focuses on community building, affordable housing, direct action, and improving quality of life in Peekskill.

“Local government is closest to the people and this slate’s Positive Agenda will position Peekskill to lead Westchester as a progressive and visionary City that denounces the harsh, partisan politics and anti-family tactics of the Trump ideology.” said Latimer says in the statement.
