Larry Fair Hands In Forced Resignation Letter
A Black Westchester Exclusive Interview: Larry Fair Breaks His Silence

Mount Vernon – Larry Fair, a 27-year veteran of the City of Mount Vernon’s DPW after 21 months of what he describes as an adversarial atmosphere of discrimination, intimidation, and retaliation from the Thomas Administration, white officials and a white co-worker, he hands in his force letter of resignation, Tuesday, October 24th.
Mr. Fair has been out of work since he was carried out by paramedics and hospitalized for heart-related issues after a heated confrontation including as he states “threats of bodily harm” with members of the mayor’s family, November 3, 2016.
“I could have died that day,” Fair shares.
He has not been back to City Hall a place he worked for 27 years but now describes as a “Hostile Working Environment,”
The Future Society CEO and Founder came down to People Before Politics Radio this past Sunday to tell his story exclusively with Black Westchester, if you missed it or just want to see it again, check the video below and listen the man tell his story in his own words.
Larry Fair is a Mount Vernon jewel, he is a loyal employee and valued employee and a grade A person!! To be treated in this fashion by the Thomas family and by the mayor himself is a disgrace!! Wake up Mount Vernon, dont allow this to happen to a great person like Larry Fair!! Silence is Acceptance!!
