Weekly Words Of Inspiration By Rev. Stephen Pogue – “KEEP THE FAITH”

“Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?” Galatians 3:5 (NKJV)

keep the faithOne time or another in our lives, each of us has seen a magician do some things. It made us wonder how they were able to do it. For years magicians had a pact that they would not reveal their secrets. However, over time, many have revealed their secrets and shown how some of the most popular tricks have been done. Although it looked amazing while it was performed, everyone knew that it was an allusion. There had to be something behind the tricks; because “it was not real.”

Miracles have happened in our lives and we know for a fact; it was not done by magic or any of our own doing. It’s only by the power of the Lord that miracles happened in our lives. The Scripture reminds us that:

“He, who supplies the Spirit to us and works miracles among us, does it not by the works of the law, but by faith.”

I encourage you today to remember all of the great things that have happened in your life. They have not happened because of something you have done or by something someone else has done for you. Rather, it happened because of the Lord working in your life.

“God, who gives us His Spirit and works miracles in our lives, does not do it by some work of the law,
but He does it through our faith.”

Trials will come in your life, but keep the faith! Storms will blow and may even destroy some things around you, but even in the devastation of your life––keep the faith! When you know where you are going––keep the faith! When you do not have a clue which direction you should go––keep the faith and know without a doubt, that the Lord will see you through!
It is not by your doing that you are where you are; it is only because the Lord has supplied you with His Spirit to see you through and your faith is the key that unlocks the door to your break through. I know that it is not because of anything that I have done that miracles have taken place in my life––it is because of my faith in the One who supplies me with His Spirit––And no matter what, I will keep my faith in the Lord. Since I know that it is by faith that miracles continue to happen in my life; I will keep my faith in the Lord! I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
