Hundreds of NYC Healthcare Workers Board Buses to Campaign for Hillary in Vital Swing-State of Pennsylvania
Caregivers say Hillary will lead the effort to improve the Affordable Care Act and create more good jobs

New York- Beginning early Saturday morning November 5th, hundreds of healthcare workers will head to Philadelphia, Allentown, Scranton, and Erie, Pa. as part of an all-out Get Out the Vote effort on behalf of Hillary Clinton. The workers are leaving from three New York City locations, and will converge in City of Brotherly Love on Saturday, Monday November 7th, and Tuesday November 8th. Buses leave at 7:30 and 8AM.
Pennsylvania is a key swing state for both candidates, making 1199SEIU’s effort on behalf of Secretary Clinton that much more important. Natalia Alberici has worked for 19 years as a home health aide. Her reasons for joining the GOTV effort are personal. “I want to better my life, and I want to explain the importance of this election to the people I’m canvassing. Hillary Clinton gives me the best chance to make life better for my family. She has the experience to do the job well”.
Barbara Rodriguez is a homecare worker from the Bronx. She’ll be heading to Allentown for all three days of GOTV. For her, the choice is simple. “I’m going to Pennsylvania because Hillary has always been on our side for better wages and education for our children. I have 7 grandchildren, and a daughter who is studying nursing. I do this for them”.
