
Congressman Tom Suozzi, Democrat candidate for Governor of New York, will hold the fourth of his seven scheduled regional tele-town halls across the state of New York, Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 7:30 PM. Democratic voters in the Bronx and in parts of Manhattan and Westchester will be called and invited to join the town hall via their telephones, as well as have an opportunity to ask Suozzi questions or let him know what is on their minds.
Suozzi will discuss his campaign for Governor and his plans to fight COVID, lower taxes and crime, improve schools, his vision for the future of New York, as well as issues relevant to this region of the state.
Suozzi is an attorney, and accountant who is the U.S. representative for New York’s 3rd district since 2017. He was the county executive of Nassau County, New York, from 2002 to 2009. The New York’s 3rd congressional district expands from northwestern Suffolk County, across northern Nassau County and into far northeastern Queens. Long Island communities in the district include West Hills, Sands Point, Laurel Hollow, Upper Brookville, Munsey Park, Brookville, Oyster Bay Cove, Old Brookville, Kings Point, Lattingtown, Matinecock, Muttontown, Lloyd Harbor, Syosset, Glen Cove, Roslyn, Manhasset, Huntington, Dix Hills, Plainview, Bethpage, northern Farmingdale, Hicksville, Northport, Commack, Port Washington and Great Neck. Queens neighborhoods in the district include Little Neck, Whitestone, Glen Oaks and Floral Park.
Registered Democrats will receive a call the night before the tele-town hall inviting them to join the following night at the same time. On the night of the tele-town hall, participants will be called and able to join the live meeting.
