“God hears and answers prayers”
“For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.” Psalm 22:24
There are going to be times when you will go through some things. There will be days when you think you can handle it and do fairly well holding it all together, even though inside you feel like the wheels are falling off of your life. Then there are times when you just cannot, no matter what you do, hold it all together. You feel like you are all alone and no one really knows what it is that you are up against. It is during this time in your life that you must seek the face and heart of God.
The Scripture reminds you: “He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither has He hid His face from them; but when you cry unto Him, He hears.”
I encourage you — no matter what it is that you are going through in life; God is always there for you. Even when it does not feel like God is hearing your prayers, and when it feels like everything is falling apart around you, God is still near enough to you to help bring you out of all that is trying to come against you. God does not abandon you when you are being afflicted, and He does not walk away when things in your life are tough, God will be with you through all that you face in your life.
People may not want to answer you when you are going through some tough times in life, but God will answer you in those times. God will not hide His face from you, God will not walk away from you, and God will not leave you alone, no matter what it is you are facing. Keep trusting and depending on God, for He will see you through all things. When you cry to Him in the midnight hour be rest assured that He hears you, and since He hears you, He will answer you. When I am afflicted I know God does not abandon me in my affliction, and He never hides His face from me, and always answers me when I call, and keeps me through all that I go through in life. Since all of my trust is in God, I have no doubt “It’s My Year to Get My Thing from My God!”
