He is homegrown, born and bred in the City of Mount Vernon and really loves working with kids. When Black Westchester met Brown at the new Chamber office on Mount Vernon Ave, he had two teenagers he was mentoring and teaching the business off The CofC so maybe one day they could take over. He also recently took a group of children on a tour on American Christmas, a Mount Vernon based company that has been the leader in the holiday decorating industry since 1968.

“I thought is would be a good idea to bring the kids to a company like American Christmas, since the business world and entrepreneurship is something we should be teaching kids at an early age,” shares Brown.

The mission of the CofC is to stimulate, encourage, and promote cooperative and friendly interchange among business people, to advance the civic, commercial, industrial, and agricultural interests of the city of Mount Vernon, NY.
