In the wake of the murder of Eric Garner, who died at the hands of NYPD officer that applied an illegal and outlawed choke-hold, Danette Chavis, mother of Gregory Chavis, killed by the NYPD on October 9, 2004, appeared on the Let Them Talk talk-show discussing the need for national action against police criminality.
“There really wasn’t enough time to cover it all, but I did my best within the work frame that I was working with. While I am out here making this action known I ask that those who have already “signed” the petition to continue to “post, tweet, and share it”. There are currently 7,224 signatures demanding this action and the accumulation of signatures will help is move forward to galvanizing “a nation wide movement” that cannot be ignored. So if you haven’t done so already click on the link and sign the demand for NATIONAL ACTION AGAINST POLICE BRUTALITY!
