CRASH CLOSES CROSS COUNTY
MOUNT VERNON — The Cross County Parkway was briefly closed for almost an hour, Friday afternoon, after a crash resulting in a long stretch of guard rail and two vehicles being brought into the oncoming lanes.
The crash which took place just shortly before 1PM sent the two vehicles lunging from the westbound lanes into the eastbound lanes just before the Gramatan Avenue overpass. The vehicles dragged a large stretch of guard rail with them.
