bullshit, when the policeman was challenged he began a pissing contest. the man was too far away to be interfering,.. the cop was young and had no experience,.. should have paid better attention in class. there are no second chances when peoples lives or safety is at stake, as clearly witnessed by ferguson. the cop was in the wrong, should have known better. up the I.Q. of these police, more training or it will cost the city millions. unless the judge is crooked, as is usually the case with police crimes,.. do your jobs,.. period.

I hate ever saying I agree with Mayor Davis in his statement. I do agree with him. This man seems to be a professional agitator. But officers in Mt Vernon must get use to this. Learn to protect their checks. Ignore the agitators and do their jobs. City cops are adjusting to this as well. This man would rather have the rookie cop fired instead of better trained to deal with people like himself. Agitators want to take your our jobs. Smh. This officer has probably never been in trouble before. Probably very rarely has ever had to place his hands on anyone. And now Mr. Samuel wants his job. Because this officer allowed his human emotions to kick in. I understand the officers frustrations. But it’s sad this man used him to gain everything he wanted to. 1 min fame/and a profitable lawsuit.

Agitation or not, the cop didn’t first engage the citizen with a request not one time. Had the cop politely checked dude and he continued to not comply…..THEN HE COULD legitimately arrest or ticket him. Period

I don’t disagree. Not properly trained. Never saying the cop is right. I wish with training this officer knew how to better handle this gentleman. Because people like him has only one agenda. And it’s a self agenda….
