Black Lives Matter Speeches by DCE Ken Jenkins, Port Chester Trustee Joan Grangenois-Thomas & Congressional Candidate Jamaal Bowman [VIDEO]

About 1,000 Westchester residents in the Rye area participated in a Black Lives Matter protest and march on Saturday, June 13th.

The peaceful group gathered at Rye High School located at 1 Parsons St, at 2 pm and then marched to the village green for speeches from local officials and activists. The group then resumed its march, winding around Rye before ending back at the high school.

Others who made speeches included Westchester County Executive George Latimer, City of Rye Mayor Josh Cohn, Westchester County Legislator Catherine Parker, NYS Assembly Candidate Meg Cameron and NY State Senator Shelley B. Mayer.
