Astorino Fires Back at Latimer
"Here we have a 30-year politician whose raise all our taxes and won't pay his own."
One day after, Senator George Latimer, the Democratic Nominee for County Executive, and Mount Vernon lawmakers criticized incumbent Rob Astorino for dangerous cuts to the county’s Department of Health and other health and family services, the County Executive held a press conference of his own, Wednesday.
In the presser, Rob Astorino who is running for a third term took shots at Latimer about not paying his own taxes
“No shrugging George, no shrugging and putting it off on your own wife or anyone else, you owe these taxes, they are owed to the people of Westchester County… maybe he thinks there is an exception for Albany politicians or County Exec candidate. I do not and my wife does not, we pay our taxes.” Astorino said at his presser. (see video below)..
