AJ ‘AJ ROK’ Woodson on 97.7 Outlaw Radio FM in Toronto Discussing JVC FORCE 33-Year Anniversary
Every now and then you may hear me or someone mention my early days in Hip-Hop as a member of the unground rap group JVC FORCE. In celebration of our 33-year-anniversary of our debut single, Strong Island, my partner-in-rhyme, B-Luv and myself have been doing a host of interviews. The latest one, Sunday night, March 28th directly after recording Episode 294 of our weekly talk radio show People Before Politics Radio Show, DJ Immortal invited me to appear of his show on 97.7 Outlaw Radio FM in Toronto, Canada to discuss the early days of JVC FORCE, my Hip-Hop inspirations, how the group met, like on B-Boy Records with and after DJ Scott La Rock and KRS ONE of Boogie Down Productions, my days with On The Go Magazine (shout to Steve Powers ‘Espo’, Ari Forman, Max Glaxer and Jimmy), how i got into writing professional, my Hip-Hop Journalist days, the new JVC Doin’ Damage T-shirts (see below) and much more. I do not talk about my early days, seems like a lifetime ago, sometimes, but this is definitely one for all my Hip-Hop heads, all the JVC FORCE heads and everyone who just wanna learn about my early days way before Black Westchester.
