Mount Vernon — Councilman Richard Thomas held a Youth Symposium in City Council Chambers, Mount Vernon City Hall, Friday, May 29th to set an agenda for justice and peace. Speakers included Black Westchester Editor-In-Chief AJ Woodson, Benyamin Bridges of Parents Against Teen Violence and a few young adults, Jahari White, Alicia Cameron and Natore Beckford to speak from a youth’s perspective.
