914 – The Come-Up Release Party

Tuesday March 1st, it went down at Whisky Creek in White Plains New York! If you are an unsigned artist and you missed out, you need to make sure you make plans to attend the next event!!

Alexander The Great, Corey “CL” Llewellyn, Kevin Edgar, Pranav “Nav Nice” Narayanan, Sean ” Rumz” Cosby in conjunction with Westchester Sponsors Digiwaxx Multimedia, Urban Rootz Media, Thug Righteous Entertainment, Up North Records, Brilliant Music, Divine Records/UMG, hosted the 914 Come-Up Mixtape Release Party in style. Whisky Creeks drinks were up to par while DJ Philly Phil ensured the crowd kept an unassailable two-step.

Music business heavy hitters Gary Jenkins, Robert A. Celestin ESQ, Corey “CL” Llewellyn and Nakia Walker were in attendance with on spot advice to help unsigned artist navigate the industry. The place was packed with talent from the 914, Thug Righteous Entertainment performed their smash single ” Benji’s & Weed” as heard by DJ Suss One on Power 105.1, YakBoy Ruga, Baby Girl out of Virginia, Finale and many others delivered very high energy performances. In case your unfamiliar, Westchester is the same place that birthed some of the greatest artists the industry has known such as, Mary J Blige, DMX, Eddie F, Al B Sure, Jeff Redd, The Lox, Sean ” Puffy” Combs, Heavy D & The Boys, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, just to name a few!

It was a major hit amongst the Westchester crowd. Their aren’t any other platforms that expose unsigned artists in this area to inside industry information free of cost from Ivy League Attorneys and Management. After they addressed the crowd they mingled with all in attendance and some even walked away potential clients. We at Black Westchester fully support the 914 Come-Up Mixtake, enjoyed covering this event and look forward to attending the next!!
