108Soul – The Soul Of New York Is New York’s New Choice For R&B and Classic Hip-Hop Music

Westchester and surrounding area residents have a new choice for R&B and Classic Hip-Hop music, 108Soul, the Soul of New York.  By now you may have seen the ads at your local Metro North train station, Social Media platform or on the streets of NYC on a daily basis on top of NYC Taxicabs.  108Soul is an internet radio station that is creating quite a buzz.

In just five short months ago, 108 Soul which was launched in May 2020, has seen its audience grow to a unbelievable 170K, which is unheard of for an internet radio station. This has labeled them one of New York’s most listened to new radio stations of 2020. 

Some may say the station has taken advantage of the quarantine. But this station’s strategy is bigger than that.

“We play R&B and classic Hip-Hop music that other radio stations have forgotten about and it has caused us to become a huge hit with fans of real music.,” explained a spokesman for 108 Soul.

Founded and owned by Square Media Communications, LLC, the station’s audience consists of 30-55 year old R&B and Classic Hip-Hop music lovers that have either downloaded the 108Soul App via their phone App Store, listen through Google Play, Amazon Alexa, or log in online at the station’s website, In addition, 108Soul is steadily attracting listeners across the USA and in all corners of the world including the UK, the Caribbean Islands, and Canada.

The station houses some of radio’s seasoned veterans such as Mike Shannon (NY’s 98.7 Kiss FM /SiriusXM Radio) Weekdays 10AM- 2PM, Eutopia (NY’s notorious 95.5FM WPLJ) Weekday 3-7PM, Jiant (Philadelphia’s Philly 103.9/NY’s 107.5 WBLS) 7-10PM, Ray DeJon (Video Music Box/Dance Traxx USA) Saturdays 5-8PM, DJ Mike Majors Saturdays 3-5PM. In addition, loyal listeners break for lunch by tuning into DJ Kidnu, the Talk of New York, holding down the Midday Mix at Noon 12-1PM. With mandatory quarantining, came closed nightclubs.

This very popular show airs Monday to Friday from 10PM to midnight and features five of New York’s hottest DJs spinning including DJ Berry B on Mondays, DJ Gully on Tuesdays, DJ Tri State Jericko – The Voice of Westchester on Wednesdays, DJ CEO on Thursdays, and the infamous DJ Mell Starr on Friday nights.
